THE LONG VERSION
So ya wanna know about me, do ya?
Well, have a seat and I’ll tell ya…. What’s that? Already sitting? Well then, what are we waiting for?
Hmm… where to start? How about… at the beginning.
Ever since I was but a wee boy, I loved to draw. Well… draw, or paint, or sculpt, or build ridiculously detailed Lego cities and then smash them up to pieces like King Kong.
But, basically I loved to create things!
As I got older I remember my parents bringing home a spankin’ new computer! It was an all-in-one Mac Classic with a built-in, 6-inch black and white screen. Ohhh baby! That thing was sweeeeet!! My friends and I would play with the paint program for hours. Mastering the art of doodling with a mouse, and creating countless 2-step “animations” by utilizing the wonderful “undo” function. Ahh… the memories….
As time went on, my skills got a little better and so did the computers. Before long I was writing and illustrating stories (well… just one really), creating real animations, dabbling in 3D programs, and even making some fun little computer games! I just loved to make stuff and share it with people. It came naturally to me.
Fast forward a bit and I met the girl of my dreams, Brandy. We fell head-over-heals in love and 6 months later we got married! Before I knew it, I was the father of 2 fun-loving kids and needed a good way to take care of them. I signed up for the Air Force, and we all moved out to North Carolina. Before long 2 kids turned into 3! Our family was growing up fast and I kept getting deployed so we decided it was time to leave the military life behind. After 6 years of service, we found our way back to where it all began (Idaho), I got a good job at Pepsi, and we decided to settle down here for a bit.
And during all those years I created almost nothing!
Time just flew by and I got so busy with “life” that I hardly took any time to doodle or make anything. Soon I became more focused on other things: family, career, paying bills… figuring out how to make more money so I could pay more bills, etc, etc, etc.
I began dabbling in all types of other things… business, marketing, technology, psychology, trends, food, you name it…. I started to become somewhat of a “jack-of-all-trades, master of none.” I was learning a little bit about a lot of things, but getting nowhere with it all really.
I needed to focus.
So… I began to soul-search. Began to focus. Began to decide what I wanted to do with my life. And now, after much thought and introspection, I have finally come full-circle to my favorite activity: creating art and entertainment for people to enjoy!
I started this site so I could share with you my journey. As I pick up the pencil and start to draw again after all these years… I hope to make something truly wonderful. My ultimate goal is to create spectacular art and entertainment that you, and millions of others, will totally love…
…and hopefully to make some good money too!
I hope you’ll follow along as I doodle and paint and create. I would love to know what you think.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to stay for a while, make yourself at home, and enjoy the journey
Sincerely,
- Jed

I adore your work! Just beautiful.
I was wondering if I could have permission to use your “Joshua” sketch on a birth certificate I’m designing to sell with my dolls. I would of course credit you! I can be reached at SweetSeriah@gmail.com.
